The Green Emerald represents the planet Mercury ( Budha ). You are not suggested to wear this Gemstone in case your Mercury is either “Astangath” ( Combusted ) or it is your “Marakesh” or “Badhakesh” or “Nashakesh” in any person’s horoscope.

If your Mercury is sitting in these particular houses where it becomes the above then it is your enemy and hence one is not suggested to wear the Gemstone of the enemy planet as it will only cause more hardship and pain.
