Any auspicious object or
article if Chipped, Cracked, Broken or Corroded needs to be done away with on
an immediate basis as per both Vedic Vastu Shastra and Feng Shui. As it is then
regarded to be “Desecrated” ( Khandit or Bhang ) and all desecrated things
regarded of what it is gives rise to dying and negative energies.
Hence, in the light of this
fundamental tenet I would suggest that after expressing your gratitude to the
Tortoise for all the good in your life ask it for forgiveness ( Kshama Yachna )
for having to dispose it away and replace it with another new one.
You can dispose it away in
clean water which may be flowing like a River or in a Pond or a Well or even in
the Ocean if you have access to it. Given the fact that in many a cases the
water’s in these places is really filthy you have the option of leaving it at
any Old Shivlinga.
Do not sit too long on it as
the more it Corrodes the greater the negative vibes it will give out and
further harmful it can get both for you and your family.
I earnestly hope that this
Blog has been relevant and useful to my esteemed reader.
You have indeed asked a very pertinent question and in the course of my professional practice as an Astrologer I do come across this question quiet often. My personal take is that, smaller pieces of Diamonds cannot match or even come close to what a single piece or a Solitaire would deliver in terms of Astrological and Gemological benefits. In case you are suggested to wear a Diamond of 1 Carat and if you wear small pieces of Diamonds which match the weight of the single Diamond suggested it would only be a pure waste of money from the Astrological perspective. There is an easy way out of this predicament. Astrologically the Diamond ( Hira ) denotes the planet Venus ( Shukra ). Venus has other subsidiary Gemstones which are well validated and one can simply opt for one of those. Hence, one can wear either an original Zircon or a good quality Ethiopian Opal stone which are valid Up Ratnas ( Subsidiary Gemstones ) of a Diamond. You can comfortably wear a large piece of these Gemstones as they do not cost a bomb and derive better benefits rather than carrying wearing a bunch of these micro mini Diamonds as the entire exercise will be rendered invalid.
Do not forget to wear the Gemstone without adhering to the Prescribed norms for wearing the Gemstone. Strictly adhere to the Muhurat’s, Recitation of the Beej ( Seed ) Mantra, Cleaning, Cleansing and Energisation procedures ideally suggested.
I sincerely hope that
this Blog has given you greater clarity in regards to the question posed.
No
experienced and learned Astrologer would advice his client to wear this kind of
a weird combination of Gemstones. This combination is opposed to the basic
canons of Astrology. However, in spite of this being a fundamental fact there
are some pseudo Astrologers who do recommend this kind of a strange concoction.
This is a disastrous combination for the wearer regardless of the fact that he
is wearing the two gemstones in two different hands.
It
is important to understand that the Hessonite ( Gomedh ) represents Lord Rahu
while the Pearl ( Moti ) denotes the Moon. Both Rahu and Moon do not see eye to
eye and are strongly opposed to each other. In fact Rahu casts a “Grahan” on
the Moon leading to a major “Pitru Dosha”.
The
fact that you would like to wear one of the Gem stones in your active hand and
the other in your passive hand is in no way going to absolve you of the
hotchpotch created by wearing two warring Gem stones.
You
will need to prioritise and choose sides quiet clearly. You will either need to
wear a Pearl or a Hessonite. Obviously the choice would be dependent on which
of the two is more relevant and gives you greater gains. Both of them cannot be
beneficial to you at one given point of time.
I
earnestly hope that this Blog has given you greater clarity on the question
posed.
Yes, there are Rudraksha’s
which are without any Mukha or Faceless. They are available in both the Indian
as well as the Nepalese variety. I personally have both these varieties in them
for my esteemed special clients only.
The Rudraksha which is
faceless or without any Mukha at all is in reality a rare phenomenon. You will
need to beware of tons of such duplicate and fake Rudrakshas which are without
any Mukha’s. One of the many methods of churning a Rudraksha without any Mukhi
is by simply blurring out two lines of a Two Mukhi Rudraksha. Then there are
Fiber, Wooden, Dough, Berry, etc created Rudraksha’s too of this variety.
There is no specific reason of
why this rather strange phenomenon is seen in original Rudrakshas. Neither are
there any special Rudraksha trees which produce this kind of a Rudraksha. It is
purely a random factor and can be found in just about any Rudraksha tree. I
personally have in my private collection authentic Rudraksha’s which have no
Mukha at all. In other words they are Faceless. There is no longitudinal line
running from the Head to the Tail of the Rudraksha at all.
This kind of a Rudraksha is
termed as a “Bandha” or “Andha” Rudraksha.
None of the ancient scriptures have made any mention of this kind of a
Rudraksha. Hence, there is no classical or Puranic data as to what this kind of
a rather strange Rudraksha can do. Some traders have called this a very special
bead which has miraculous powers. It is hard to say if they have spun false
tales in regards to this Rudraksha. Time and experience of wearers of this
variety is the only manner in which we will be guided as to the reality of the
effects that this Rudraksha delivers.
In my experience when clients
have specifically purchased this rather rare variety of Rudraksha from me, I have
after a reasonable period of time inquired in regards to the results they have
experienced. Most have claimed that they have had astounding results and they
have come for more such pieces for their near and dear one’s. They have claimed
that this kind of a Rudraksha to have delivered them everything right from
financial gains to spiritual progress.
Having given you a brief
background on this rather strange creation of nature I would now like to move
on to the precise answer to the specific question. There is no specific manner
in which we can consider this kind of a Rudraksha either superior or at par or
inferior to other Mukhi Rudrakshas. I have shared with you my own customer’s
feedback and hence at my personal level I regard this kind of a Rudraksha to be
helpful to those who have unflinching faith in its power’s.
I earnestly hope that this
humble Blog has been able to put to rest the two queries raised.
This
is indeed a very interesting question and I would like to clarify at the very
outset that though I have never subscribed to the five myths I am discussing
ahead, they are extremely popular and hence I would like to bring them forth
gladly as they are playing havoc in the minds of the common gullible believer.
Especially, as they do not have any classical base and are merely based on
hearsay. Furthermore, they do not have any Scientific or Climatic or
Geographical or for that matter any other rationale.
A. You should not
have “Three Doors In A Row”. This is probably the most commonly
accepted Myth. In fact many a Vastu Shastra consultant also seriously adhere to
this pseudo rule. They make the folly of asking clients to close down doors or
shift them so that they do not fall in a line. This is pure harassment of the
client who knows nothing about this subject and purely believes in what is told
to him. The shifting of doors and making of walls in their places unnecessary
takes a toll on the client both in terms of Money and Peace of Mind. Finally,
after undergoing this gruesome exercise one is left with no positive results as
the entire theory is itself flawed.
B.“Vyaghara Mukhi” plots
or built structure are bad or inauspicious while “Gaumukhi” plots
or built structures are good and auspicious. This is totally rubbish. In both
the cases there is a cut in a certain direction or directions and extension is
a certain direction or directions. So speaking from the true Vastu Shastra
perspective both of them are equally bad. I have rummaged all the ancient
scriptures of Vastu Shastra for any remote reference of this apparent tenet and
have only come out with absolutely no mention about this in any authoritative
believable text. Hence, dear friends regardless of whether your plot or built
up structure is “Vyaghara Mukhi” or “Gau Mukhi” you
will need to carry out some serious corrections and do not be under the false
hope that a “Gau Mukhi” plot or structure is going to bestow
any miraculous results upon you.
C. Vastu Shastra rules
or governs the position of “Wall Clocks” in a Vastu. No
ancient text that I have read ranging from Maymatam, Mansara, Rajvallabh,
Vishwakarma Prakash, Kamika Agam, etc have ever mentioned anything in regards
to the position of the Wall Clock. This rule has been picked up from Feng Shui
and pasted in the name of Vastu Shastra. In the course of my giving
professional advice to my esteemed clients I clearly state that one should
simply place a clock in the direction which is convenient to the person rather
than considering any appropriate or inappropriate directions for the same.
D. One cannot have a
Staircase in the North, Northeast and the East directions. Especially the
Northeast direction. This is another unfounded rule which stems out of some
misconception of the basic understanding of the science of Vastu Shastra. Vastu
Shastra consultants many a time have never ever read the ancient scriptures
themselves and hence they simply pass on norms which they have heard from other
half baked Vastu Shastra consultants. These kind of rules are a resultant of
these loose talks.
I
personally disagree with the school of thought that says that one cannot have a
staircase in the North, Northeast or the East directions. I would like to back
up my statement with some classical facts which are stated ahead. “Mansara”,
Vol.4, Chapter 36 and Shlokha 72 has clearly stated that one can have a Stair
case in all the four Main directions, that is, in the North, South, East and
the West. It has further stated that a Staircase can also be placed in all the
subsidiary directions like the Northeast, Southeast, Southwest and the
Northwest directions. For further details on the topic of Staircases kindly
read my answer on Staircases in Quora or get in touch with me personally.
E. Choosing a
bungalow, flat, plot, etc on the basis of its “Number” and
calling it a Vastu Shastra norm. The number of any property does not have
anything to do whatsoever with the Vastu Shastra requirements of the plot. This
is a new invalid and bogus theory which is doing the rounds rather rapidly. I have
come across many clients who refuse to even look at Vastu’s which are Vastu
Shastra compatible but just because it has a “Negative Number” people
bear this false notion that this is a negative Vastu and let go of some
wonderful properties.
Needless,
to say this latest unfounded theory has no backing or veracity as far as any of
the ancient scriptures are concerned. In fact even Modern Vastu Shastra does
not have any sympathy to this norm. It is a pure mockery of Vastu Shastra and
it is these pseudo Vastu Shastra consultants who then bring Vastu Shastra a bad
name.
I earnestly hope that this Blog has been an eye opener for my readers as I am pretty sure that most must have believed in at least one of the five mentioned above.
I have been practicing
professionally Vastu Shastra for the last 35 over years now and the shape or
designing of a Visiting card figures nowhere in the canons of the science of
either Vedic or Modern Vastu Shastra.
Vastu Shastra primarily deals
with either open land or some kind of a shelter and a “Visiting Card” is
neither of them. Vastu Shastra is deeply governed by the law of Magnetism,
Directions, Climatology, etc. A “Visiting Card” has
nothing to do with any of these subjects and neither is it a piece of Land nor
is it any kind of a Shelter.
However, I have come across
certain pseudo Vastu consultants who have fleeced gullible customers by trying
to design a Visiting Card as per Vastu Shastra. Both Vastu Shastra and a
Visiting Card have nothing in common other than the alphabet “V”.
Any application of Vastu Shastra norms to a “Visiting Card” is
nothing short of a gimmick and it certainly holds no water. Everything in Vastu
Shastra is governed by directions. How can one decipher directions in a “Visiting
Card”??? The fraudsters however have their own irrational logic with whose
aid they determine the directions on a “Visiting Card”, which
in my understanding is so bizarre.
I through this humble Blog appeal to my readers, not to fall into this novel and latest money making scandal. It is these people who get the noble and colossal science of Vastu Shastra a bad name.
This is one of the most sensitive frequently
asked Questions in my profession. As
the Indian mind has many divergent views on this issue and most of these views
are sexist and explosive in nature.
There
are some Orthodox conservative thinkers who strongly are of the opinion that
Women should not wear Rudrakshas. These kind of people are normally highly
prejudiced and have strong biases. While the liberal school of thought thinks
otherwise and is very much for Women also equally benefitting from this Gift of
the Almighty.
In
this ensuing duel of these two opposing schools let us see what the most
authoritative classical scripture has to say on this issue.
Going
strictly as per what the Holy Shiva Purana has to say, it has categorically
stated that women must wear Rudraksha’s. Thereby making the stance of the Orthodox
school redundant and defunct. It is baseless and hence
this advice should not be heeded.
Hence, they are free to wear any
Mukhi Rudraksha or a combination or even a Mala of Rudraksha’s. They are also
free to wear a Rudraksha of any of the origins ( Nepal, Indonesian and Indian
). It has elaborated no further. Leaving it to
interpretation if women who have hit their puberty can wear Rudraksha’s or not.
I personally belong to the Liberal school and I do not see any reason why the
Rudraksha’s need to be removed when a very natural process is at work and hence
I do not recommend my client’s to remove the same. However, I leave the final
decision to the sensibility of my client and think it appropriate to let her
take the final call on this sticky issue.
Having not only read the scriptures but in my
personal experience I am of the opinion that women can very well wear the Holy Rudraksha. The
Almighty Shiva has bestowed this “Gem of a Bead” to
the entire mankind regardless of sex, caste, creed, etc. This pious and holy
bead is beyond all these man made divisions and biases.
It is rather selfish of mankind to attribute
some natural reasons to be a cause for the fairer sex not to gain from the
immense benefits this wonderful bead has to offer.
I
have personally in the course of my professional practice as an Astrologer
recommended the Holy Rudraksha to so many Women and most of them have even worn
them. I have not seen any negative fallout in their lives post wearing the
Rudraksha. In fact my wife also does wear Rudraksha’s from a very long time.
Most
of the Women when initially are recommended to wear a Rudraksha are reluctant
as they themselves are plagued with the thought that they are not allowed to
wear a Rudraksha. It is all thanks to the mischief mongers who spread these
canard of lies. It is only after explaining to them in detail and with tons of
patience that there is no taboo with Women wearing Rudraksha’s that they
finally relent and are most glad to adorn the Holy bead.
I earnestly hope that this Blog has done away with any hitches you may have also personally harbored in case of Women wearing of the Holy Rudraksha. Hope that my friends agree with me and would propagate this view further.
I am a professional
Numerologist myself for decades now. I would not call this science a “Bogus” science.
However, I would certainly state with all humility that it has been “overrated”.
It’s application is limited to
either naming a person or suggesting a change in the spelling of individual’s
names so that it synchronises with the date of birth of the person. This brings
about better harmony and growth in one’s life.
It is also applied to naming
an organization or change in name of the organization in lieu with the founders
date of birth.
It helps in identifying Lucky,
Neutral and Unlucky Numbers and thereby Colours and also at times favourable
and unfavourable directions.
It is not as in depth a
science like Astrology, Palmistry, Vastu Shastra, etc. It is far simpler and
has limited applicability. However, off late people have gone berserk about
this science and have started applying this science in manners where it has no
bearing at all.
For instance people have been
choosing properties only on the basis of the number it has rather than looking
at it from the Vastu Shastra perspective, which actually governs the domain of
purchasing of properties. They reject great Vastu compliant properties only
because it does not have the number they seek. This is truly the limit.
I have come across pseudo
Numerologist who even ask people to change their Date of Birth and Time as the
original is not favourable according to them. This is not only illegal but
atrocious.
Numerologist have been cashing
on this new madness of the common man who falls prey to such stunts.
To sum it up I would say that
Numerology has a role to play in your life but with a limited scope.
I earnestly hope that this Blog has given you a new insight in regards to the science of Numerology.
The
Ring finger represents the Almighty Sun, who happens to be the father of Lord
Shani. Neelam represents or is the Gemstone of Lord Shani ( Saturn ). It is the
middle finger of the right hand which is the designated finger for the Neelam
as this is the finger for Lord Shani.
Both
interestingly and ironically both Lord Sun and Shani do not see eye to eye.
They share a bitter relationship as per the canons of well established Hindu
Astrology. Hence, wearing of a Neelam which symbolises Lord Shani in the finger
designated to Lord Sun is certainly not suggested and though in my course of
being a professional Astrologer I have seen this kind of an advice given by
some Astrologers I personally of the opinion that this will only lead to a
disaster and hence must be avoided.
Hence,
to sum it up if you are to wear a Neelam then wear it after having followed the
due procedure in the Middle finger of the Right hand. Also do bear in mind the
fact that the Neelam is a powerful Gemstone which can cause both immense good and
bad. Hence, be doubly sure prior to wearing of this Gemstone.
I earnestly hope that this Blog has answered the question to your satisfaction.
Both an extension and cut in
any of the eight directions on the two dimensional plane are connected very
much to the well established tenets of both Vedic as well as Modern Vastu
Shastra.
As mentioned in the question
the plots we are here talking about apparently have a Southwest extension. The
Southwest is a direction governed by the Mukhiya Yajman ( Main Owner ) of the
Vastu and hence any extension in this direction will have a negative
ramification on one of the vital areas of the owner’s life. It could be
physical, financial, mental, social, political, etc.
It is ideally to be rectified
as it is regarded to be a fairly major Vastu Dosha. In my personal practice as
a professional Vastu Shastra consultant for over 35 years I have come across
both open plots and built structures having a Southwest extension and I have
personally witnessed the negative impacts on the lives of the owners and
thereby the other occupants of such Vastu’s.
Hence, my dear friends I would
earnestly advice you to take the professional guidance of a well experienced
and knowledgeable Vastu Shastra professional and have this problem or anomaly
sorted out at the earliest.
I sincerely hope that this Blog has cleared any misconceptions in regards to a Southwest extension either in a plot or the built structure.
