You are
absolutely free to wear two 5 faced Rudraksha Mala’s at the same time provided
each Mala is complete in terms of the number of beads acceptable to the
Shastra’s. By this I mean that a single Mala should have 108 + 1 ( Sumeru /
Guru bead ) or then 54 +1 or 27 + 1. None of the beads in either of the Mala’s
should be chipped, cracked or broken.
You can also
have a combination of One of the Mala’s having Nepal beads while the other Mala
having Indonesian beads.
Further, in one
of the Mala’s you could have a Mala which has 109 beads while the other is 28
beads or any other such combination.
Most of the people
do not wear two Mala’s only because they find it cumbersome. However, there is
no rule which bars anybody from wearing multiple Rudraksha Mala’s. As long as
you are comfortable and you continue to have unflinching faith in these Mala’s
you are absolutely free to continue wearing both of them.
I earnestly
hope that this humble Blog has been both meaningful and useful to you.
There are two parts to your
question. First of all let me begin by answering the question in regards to the
Staircase placement in the Southeast direction. As per the most authoritative
classical scripture on the subject of Vastu Shastra, namely, “Mansara” you are absolutely free to
have a staircase in the Southeast direction. However, do bear in mind that the
Staircase should be clockwise in nature. In other words it means that when a
person climbs the Staircase from a lower floor to a higher floor he moves
around in a clockwise fashion. Further, the number of steps should always be
odd in number.
As far as the Main Gate location
in the Southeast corner is concerned, it is important for you to note that none
of classical texts on the subject of Vastu Shastra have agreed upon having a
Main Gate in any of the four corners of a Vastu. This thereby includes the
Southeast direction too. Having a gate in the Southeast direction is a Vastu fault
and it should be duly corrected.
You may come across some Vastu
consultants who may consider this position to be correct or acceptable.
However, this is not true and the texts have very clearly suggested specific
acceptable “Pada’s” ( Divisions ) in
which the Main Gate should be placed and it is best that the same is
meticulously adhered to.
I earnestly hope that this
humble Blog has answered the question to my esteemed reader’s satisfaction.
There is no restriction of any
sort of wearing any Single Rudraksha bead regardless of whether it is from
Nepal or Indonesia. Hence, you are absolutely free to wear a single 7 Mukhi
bead in your fancy chain.
You will need to bear in mind
three simple factors prior to wearing of this Rudraksha and they are listed
ahead:
A. The Rudraksha should be large
and well rounded along with having high density. Also ensure that the Mukhas
are well pronounced and that the longitudinal line runs completely from the
Head to the Tail of the Rudraksha. It should not be Moth eaten or Insect
infested, etc.
B. Do follow the ritualistic
procedure prescribed prior to adorning the Rudraksha in order to derive the
complete benefits of the same.
C. Also do ensure that the “Fancy Chain” you have mentioned is not
made of steel of iron.
Ask your supplier of how the
Rudraksha needs to be maintained as it needs to be cleaned as well as cleansed
and energised periodically. By doing this one is able to maintain the Holy
Rudraksha in pristine physical as well as spiritual form.
I earnestly feel that this
humble Blog has again been able to satiate my erudite reader’s query.
My answer to this question may
contain some Astrological jargon which you may not be able to comprehend in
case you are not a student or practicing Astrologer.
The Green Emerald represents the
planet Mercury ( Budha ). You are not suggested to wear this Gemstone in case
your Mercury is either “Astangath” (
Combusted ) or it is your “Marakesh”
or “Badhakesh” or “Nashakesh” in any person’s horoscope.
If your Mercury is sitting in
these particular houses where it becomes the above then it is your enemy and
hence one is not suggested to wear the Gemstone of the enemy planet as it will
only cause more hardship and pain.
I earnestly hope that this Blog
has been both meaningful and useful to you.
It is true that dry flowers,
stems, etc do cause Vastu defects at home or any other place that they are
placed. A Fresh flower is budding with pulsating positive energy and when the
same is drying or dried it gives out Dying and Dead energy. It is also said and
believed that this decaying energy is harmful to the Aura of the premise they
are placed in.
It is common to see people put
up “Toran’s”/ “Malas” and Flower
decorations during a festive season and once the season or day is over they
forget all about it till the next festival. In such cases these very decorative
vibrant leaves, flowers, stems once they start drying up become a cause of
bane. They give out negative vibes and hence it is best that they are removed
the moment we see them wilting or drying up. They should then be disposed of in
the prescribed manner only.
As a Vastu Shastra consultant I
have come across many people who put up dried flowers and stems up in their
homes and offices as a part of their decor and I am compelled to dissuade them
from doing so. Regardless, of how pretty or beautiful they look they are not
carriers of positive energy and hence compulsorily do away with them the moment
they are drying up. Do not even wait for them to completely dry up.
Earnestly hoping that this Blog
has been meaningful to my esteemed reader’s.
Having a South facing house is
not an issue or in any way inauspicious as per Vastu Shastra. However, having
an underground water tank in the Southwest direction is completely undesirable.
The Southwest is ruled by the “Pruthvi
Tatva” and the “Jadatva Tatva”
which means that the Southwest direction is ideally supposed to be the highest
and the heaviest. However, while making this direction heavy and high the “Jaal Tatva” ( Water Element ) should
not be used.
You could either choose the
Northeast, center North, East or the West for construction of an underground
water tank. These water reservoirs regardless of whether they are below the
ground, on the ground or placed over the construction have to be constructed as
per certain prescribed norms. There are also some deposits that area supposed
to be placed within them which are also vital for the occupants of the Vastu.
Avoid the entire South zone for
having an underground or over head water tank. In other words you should not
have a water tank in the Southeast or the South or the Southwest direction. This
is a fundamental rule and has been spelled out unanimously by all the classical
authoritative texts on Vastu Shastra.
I earnestly hope that this
humble Blog has put to rest any query you may have in this regard.
You have posed a rather
interesting question. In fact a number of people who wear multiple Rudrakshas
or are wanting to wear a combination of Rudraksha’s are faced by this predicament.
The answer is an emphatic “YES”. One is permitted to wear any
Mukhi Rudraksha with any other. There is no restriction given in any of the
Granths ( ancient scriptures ) on Rudrakshas in this matter. Though each
Rudraksha has an independent role it does not in any way interfere into the
path of the other Rudraksha. Rather it provides its positive energy to the
other Rudraksha thereby combining their powers to help the wearer.
You will only need to ensure
that you string them correctly and also wear them after having followed the due
process as prescribed.
I sincerely hope that this Blog has
satiated your query in regards to this question.
This
is truly a very fundamental question that many believers in the powers of both
the beads encounter. Further this is not a predicament that bothers the
ordinary people alone, in fact many an astrological consultant is in a dilemma
of how to deal with this rather vexing situation.
My
answer has two parts to it. It is important to understand as to what is the
basis of conflict between wearing a Rudraksha and Tulsi bead together.
The
first part deals with the age old Indian division created by man for sure. This
division is created on the lines of the believers and worshipers of Lord Shiva
who are termed the “Shaivaites”. Similarly, the believers and followers of Lord
“Vishnu” or any of his Avtars are the “Vaishnavites”. The people who were
“Shaivaites” preferred and revered the “Rudraksha” as it is the creation of
Lord Shiva. While on the other hand the worshipers of “Vishnu” preferred and
revered the Tulsi Bead as it was connected to Lord “Vishnu”.
There
was a simmering rivalry in these groups. This lead to the wrong notion that one
cannot wear a Rudraksha / Rudrakshas and Tulsi bead / beads together. As the
years went by and the rivalry confined only in the minds and hearts of a few.
Such concepts are not as dominant as they were in earlier era. This is pure
fear mongering.
I
personally in the course of my three and half decades of professional practice
seen many a client wearing both the Rudraksha Mala as well as the Tulsi Mala
together and I have not seen anything go awry in their lives. Hence, it is also
pure experience and statistics on the basis of which I do not adhere to any
such narrow views.
Further,
it is important to understand that both of these beads are Organic Gems and are
gifts of nature. Nature does not in any way make such distinctions. These
wonderful beads have been offered to mankind as a whole. It is we humans who
with our myopic and egocentric views create such divides.
Further,
there is no known chemical, electromagnetic field or anything else generated
from these beads which are in conflict with each other.
Hence,
in my limited understanding and knowledge I would suggest that one can
certainly wear any combination of these two beads together. The only concern
would be that the wearer should be clear in his mind and not even an iota of doubt
regarding the fact that both these beads can be worn together. If the doubt
persists in the mind of the wearer then it is best that he does not wear them.
Even mother nature cannot work for you if you doubt her.
Hoping
that this humble Blog has satiated your desire to learn more in regards to the
question posed.
You have indeed
raised a very pertinent question and that is in regards to the misconceptions
of having a door or any kind of an entry in the South direction. There exists
multiple unsubstantiated notions among both the common man and many a
practicing Vastu Shastra consultant. In fact a great number of people have
indulged in fear mongering in regards to the South door, which is so very
untrue.
In the course
of my three and half decades of professional practice as a Vastu Shastra
consultant I have come across so many of my clients fretting on the very
thought of acquiring a South facing door flat or plot. I have gone to great
lengths in convincing them that this notion that they are holding on to is so
very wrong and misplaced and they have to let it go. I take pride in stating
that I have virtually convinced all of them. It is not only the South facing
factor which is of consequence but all other relevant factors of the Vastu
which need to be duly studied and looked into.
Speaking from
the view point of Climatology, Sun path and Geography, India being a Tropical
country it gets most of the Almighty Sun’s glare and heat from the South direction
irrespective of the season. The same is heightened in the case of the summer
time. However, this factor is of no consequence in a flat where on opening the
door you either get to see another flat’s door or the lift or the staircase.
The glaring heat of the South is completely shielded. In cases of row houses,
twin bungalows and individual bungalows there are multiple methods of cutting
of the heat related factors in the course of planning a South facing premise.
Even in the existing premise there are many easy methods by which we can
curtail the agony caused by the scathing heat of the Sun. All you need for this
is a well experienced and learned Vastu Shastra consultant who will give you
simple but yet highly effective tips to deal with this issue at hand.
If you have in
reality a door in the accurate “Pada” ( Section / division )
as per what the Classical Texts / Ancient scriptures of Vastu Shastra then
nothing can go wrong on account of the Gate or Door. However, most on the basis
of either hearsay or incomplete knowledge, place the door in the
inappropriate “Pada” and hence have to face the negative
consequences of the same. You should ideally take the professional advice of a
learned and well versed Vastu consultant to check if your Gate /Door is truly
in the correct section or not.
There are
certain other vital norms which need to be adhered to even beyond just placing
the Gate / Door in the accurate “Pada”, like for instance the door
should open in a clockwise manner when the Gate / Door is looked at from inside
the said premise and so on and so forth. There are certain auspicious elements
which need to be placed on the Main Gate / Door both from the inside as well as
from the outside in order to ensure Peace, Prosperity and Protection to the
people residing in the premise. You should ideally comply with all of that in
order to take advantage of even a South facing door.
Before signing
off, a small piece of advice. Do not rely on what people have put up on the
internet as not all of that may necessarily hold true.
I earnestly
hope that this humble Blog has been both meaningful and useful to you.
This
is a common predicament faced by many as the houses especially in urban areas
are shrinking in size and there is a battle for space among the varied elements
of the house. It is at this juncture that this question comes up and it is
indeed both very interesting and a tricky question. Regardless if the balcony
under consideration is enclosed within the home or not, it is regarded
inappropriate to have a Mandir in the same. The Mandir occupies a very special
place in a home or rather any other Vastu. It is the “Cosmic
Connection” which ensures that the Vastu is always protected and
further it ushers in Peace and Prosperity too.
Having
a Mandir in the balcony, even if it is placed in the Vastu appropriate
direction ( Northeast ), it is more like keeping the Mandir out of the home and
not integrating the same with the main elements of the home. It clearly gives
the signal that the Mandir is of secondary importance and hence the balcony
space which is otherwise used for storage or plants or some subsidiary activity
is used for the Mandir.
I
in my professional practice as a Vastu Shastra consultant never advice the Holy
and Pious Mandir to be treated in this manner and hence equipped with the
limited understanding and experience I would advice you to not place a Mandir
in the balcony.
I
earnestly hope that this humble Blog has cleared any doubts present in regards
to the placement of the Mandir in the balcony.
