This is truly and out of the box question. Let me try and do
justice to this question by my humble answer. To the best of my knowledge and
experience I have neither ever read or come across any rule which disbars one
from having a Dog as a pet from the Vastu Shastra point of view. Vastu Shastra
has given various locations for the placements of various animals in your
premise. But in no way has it ever considered Dogs to be harmful or troublesome
or inauspicious in any manner. In fact it has suggested that the kennel for
Dogs should be ideally made as a first preference in the Southeast direction.
Astrologically speaking, Dogs do benefit humans in many ways.
They safeguard humans from the wrath of many evil planets. So to the best of my
limited wisdom I think it would be foolhardy to not have Dogs which are
popularly known to be “Man’s best friend”, just because of some ill gotten
advice from some misinformed person.
I earnestly hope that this humble Blog has been both meaningful and useful to you.
Removal of your Gemstones worn for
Astrological purposes for a short period does not matter. That includes while
taking a bath. It does not lose its power or its innate ability to be benefic.
In fact it is strongly suggested that one should remove his or her Gemstones
prior to visiting any place where there is a Dead Body. The Gemstone should be
then re worn only after having come back and taken a head bath and chanting the
Beej ( Seed ) Mantra of the Gemstone.
However, one needs to bear in mind that
this should not become a habit and especially you should not forget to re wear
the Gemstone ring. Otherwise it will become an acute problem and the very
purpose for which you have worn the Astrological Gemstone ring will wither
away.
In my experience I have noticed that people
initially do remove it for small periods of time and then over a period of time
one simply tends to forget and then do not wear the Astrological Gemstones for
a prolonged period of time. It is only then that the positive effects of the
Gemstone are not felt and one needs to be aware of this aspect. Hence, many a
time Astrologer’s opine that one should not remove the Gemstone at any given
point of time.
Just for the sake of your knowledge most of
the Gemstones are not harmed by mild hot water or any kind of a Soap or
Shampoo. So if you continue wearing them in the course of your bath also it is
okay.
Sincerely hoping that this Blog has answered the question posed effectively.
The Yellow Sapphire ( Pushkaraj )represents the planet Jupiter (
Guru ). Regardless of whether it is a Male or a Female, the Yellow Sapphire (
Pushkaraj ) is to be worn in the Right Hand’s Index finger for the best
results. There are certain prescribed ritualistic procedures which need to be
adhered to in the process of wearing this Gemstone. This procedure or ritual is
also the same for both Men and Women.
This distinction by a few that the women should wear it in the
left hand is rather skewed and has no basis either in the classical texts to
the best of my reading or on the basis of ground reality. It is simply a bias
which is uncalled for. Bluntly put it is just a mindset problem.
The Yellow Sapphire knows no distinction between Male and
Female. All it knows is that it needs to bestow its very best on the wearer.
I earnestly hope that this Blog has cleared any doubts that may persist in the minds of my readers.
It is a well established norm that one is
free to wear a combination of Rock Crystals / Sphatik which are eye glass clean
alongside any Mukhi Rudraksha. Rather this combination is very much suggested
by me in my professional practice as a Rudraksha exponent. As both the
Rudraksha and the Rock Crystal bead compliment each other.
The Sphatik bead is known to enhance
positive energy many folds. If given the right “Intent”, it can
work wonders and also enhance the potency of the Rudraksha’s worn along with
it. There are certain other pertinent details which will need to be understood
and applied in this case.
As far as the Nylon thread is concerned, my
suggestion is to opt for a strong “Silk Red Thread” as the
same tends to be more appropriate. As I have mentioned in many of my earlier
Blog’s you will need to ensure that the “Head” of a Rudraksha
and the “Tail” of the Rudraksha are well aligned. Further,
there should be “Knots” / “Links” between two
Rudrakshas. Similarly, you will need to take into account other pertinent rules
too in order to derive the best results from this lethal combination of Sphatik
/ transparent Quartz Crystal and the Holy Rudraksha.
I earnestly hope that this rather crisp Blog has been both meaningful and useful to you.
This
a very relevant question as many a common man and some foolishly adventurous
Astrologers / Palmists / Numerologists suggest this kind of a weird concoction
of Gems to be worn. It is important to note that as per the well established
norms of Vedic Astrology The Emerald / Panna / Pachu represent the planet
Mercury ( Budha ) which considers the Moon as its enemy and hence the
representation of the Moon which is in the form of a Pearl ( Moti ) are not to
be worn together.
Both
of them cannot suit you. You will need to prioritize and decide for yourself or
with the guidance of a wise and experienced Astrologer as to which one you is
apt for you.
In
fact I would strongly suggest that you seek the aid of another learned and well
experienced Astrologer in this case. As the combination of Gemstones suggested
to you does not fall under the category of a learned and experienced
Astrologer.
By
simply wearing it in two different hands does not sort out your problem.
Finally both the hands belong to you and hence don’t be fooled by any such
gimmickry.
You
should always opt for good quality Gemstones and avoid those without a good
Aura and especially in the case of the Green Emerald you should avoid those
with too many internal inclusions. The colour of the Gemstone should be bottle
Green or Fair Green and still maintain a certain degree of clarity. Then there
is the Cut and the number of Carat weight of Gemstone along with the mines it
comes from. The Gem stone should certainly not be artificially treated and the
same is commonly observed nowadays. So on and so forth.
You
as a common man would not be in a position to judge both the Astrological and
Gemmological factors and hence consult a well experienced and knowledgeable
Astrologer for the appropriate guidance.
I
earnestly hope that this rather crisp Blog has given you greater clarity in
regards to the question posed.
It
is of utmost importance to first of all to ensure that you have received the
correct advice from a learned and well experienced Astrologer in regards to
both these Gem stones being favourable to you.
As
far as wearing these two Gemstones together is concerned, it is perfectly okay
from the Astrological perspective as the Green Emerald represents the planet
Mercury ( Budh ) and the Diamond represents the planet Venus ( Shukra ) and
fortunately both of these planets are friends with each other and hence both
there Gemstones can be worn together.
The
Green Emerald is to be worn in the Little finger of the right hand and hence in
this case you are making no mistake in my limited understanding. Further, the
Diamond is always worn in the Ring finger of the right hand and hence in this
case to you are following perfect Astrological and Gemological norms.
In
short as far as the chemistry between both these Gemstones is concerned, it is
absolutely fantastic and the fingers chosen are also perfect.
I earnestly hope that this Blog has been both meaningful and useful to you.
Going by the canons of Vedic
Astrology a Yellow Sapphire ( Pushkaraj ) is more powerful than the Citrine as
the Yellow Sapphire is a precious Gemstone and has been enlisted in the
Navgraha Gemstones. While on the other hand Citrine is a Semi Precious Gemstone
which is regarded to be a part of Western Astrology and does not form an
integral part of Indian Astrology.
The only constraint with a
good Yellow Sapphire is its costing, as a good Yellow Sapphire is expensive.
Especially those which have good natural Colour, Cutting, Clarity, Carat, etc.
While on the other hand the Citrine is a reasonably priced Gemstone and this is
one of chief reasons why some opt for the Citrine Gemstone.
For those who are hard pressed
on the money aspect I would suggest that one can opt for a Citrine initially
but then over a period as the situation improves it is best that he upgrades
and purchases a good quality, natural and un tampered Yellow Sapphire and
adorns it on the appropriate Muhurat post following the mandatory rituals.
Also do remember that many a
Citrine’s are also tampered with in terms of its colour and hence it is
necessary that if you are compromising on the quality of Gemstones at least
ensure that you get a natural coloured Gemstones.
It is also important to note
that one needs to wear a larger sized Citrine as it is a subsidiary ( Up Ratna
) Gemstone.
I sincerely hope that this
Blog has given you further clarity between the difference between these two
Gemstones.
Before
answering your question let me give you an insight on the three kinds of One
Mukhi’s that are available as of date.
The
first one is the Crescent Moon shaped ( Ardha Chandra Akaar / Kaju Dana ) which
comes from the Southern India and certain parts of Srilanka. This is a commonly
available and reasonably priced Rudraksha. This Rudraksha does not fall under
the prime or main species of Rudrakshas. It is one of the subspecies of the
family of Rudrakshas. It is also known as the “Bhadhraksha” However,
both the print media and the electronic media have been excessively used by
unscrupulous sellers in order to popularise it and make a virtual fool of the
common man by claiming it to possess miraculous powers. They also made
tall claims of this Rudraksha virtually changing or altering the common man’s
life all together. It was showcased as a Rudraksha which is like a panacea to
all of man’s ills in the world. I would not say that this Rudraksha is no good
but then certainly not make such false and irrelevant claims as have been made.
The
second variety which is more genuine hails from Indonesia ( Java ). It is
pretty small in size and when placed under an X Ray machine it displays one
seed lodged inside. It has a natural hole and passes all the tests that are
normally carried out on a Rudraksha bead. It is costlier and its availability
is very much possible. We at Eshans take pride in stating that Prof. Kalantri
has a decent collection of these beads. He has personally purchased these beads
directly from the jungles of central Java.
The
third variety is the classical Nepal One Mukhi bead. Most opine that it is
impossible to possess such a bead while in my limited understanding and
experience this is not the case. There availability is very limited and they
are mighty expensive. For those who wish to possess this bead or rather all the
three kinds of beads are free to get in touch with me through my in box or the
number given below.
In
case of the Nepal One Mukhi there exist differences among experts in the field
of Rudraksha’s. However, these are matter of opinions and opinions can vary.
This
is the kind of Rudraksha which is duplicated the most and sold for enormous
amounts to the gullible buyer who has little or no understanding of Rudrakshas.
The
Holy One Mukhi Rudraksha is symbolic to the Almighty Shiva in his “Satvik” form.
It is best not to be worn as it is difficult or rather impossible for a person
leading a normal life to maintain its sanctity. Hence, this Rudraksha is best
placed in the Pooja and prayed to in a particular format.
It
is to be possessed by those who wish to forge ahead in their Spiritual journey.
It is not to be possessed for Materialistic gains. Most have this misconception
that a One Mukhi is meant for one to gain opulence and riches. As mentioned
earlier it is to be used for areas like Kundalini Jagruti, Chakra balancing and
evolving and enhancement of the Aura. It is purely a “Satvik” bead.
It certainly evokes tremendous amount of “Shakti” in a person
provided the person has been trained well in tapping the virtues of this bead.
If
one is correctly taught on how the powers of this bead needs to be unlocked in
the areas mentioned earlier then a person can reach virtually any level of
Spiritual progress. However, one needs to bear in mind that the person
possessing this bead should necessarily have a genuine bead and should himself
be pious in nature. Further, he or she should be willing to work on the bead
for a prolonged period. It is not a two minute Maggie noodles kind of a thing.
It
is truly magical provided one is guided well in its use. Once again beware of
fake One Mukhi beads. Most get caught up with the fakes which are crafted using
a number of techniques, which range from making a One Mukhi from a two or three
Mukhi bead. They simply blur away one or two lines ( Mukhas ). They also make
them from berries. They interestingly also make them from regular dough. There
are fiber One Mukhi Rudrakshas. There is another rare variety of “Rudraksha”
called “Bandha / Andha” Mukhi Rudraksha which does not have
any Mukha / Face at all on the surface of the bead. There are very limited
numbers of original pieces of this bead available. This bead is also pressed
into making of fake One Mukhi Rudraksha’s. One single Mukha needs to be carved
on the surface of such a bead.
The
well trained craftsman make them so well that many a Astrological consultant
have landed up buying varied kinds of fake One Mukhi Rudraksha’s either with
prior knowledge that they are fake or having been taken for ride themselves.
They then pass it on to their clientele who eventually fall prey to this larger
scam. The list of making fakes is very long and hence always procure your one
Mukhi from only the most reliable source.
I earnestly hope that this Blog has given my valuable reader a thorough insight on the subject of the elusive One Mukhi Rudraksha bead.
This
is a very interesting situation and in the course of my professional practice I
have come across this question a number of times and hence I personally feel
the need to address this situation.
As
you have clearly mentioned in your question that you had “Abandoned” the
Rudraksha you were wearing for reasons best known to you, it is my strong
opinion that you do not rewear the same Rudraksha again. By abandoning it you
have literally disrespected it and this is certainly not accepted.
Rather,
on the other hand you must perform a “Kshama Yachana” ( prayer
for forgiveness ) on the Rudraksha after having cleaned it. You must then leave
it at an old Shiva temple with all due respect.
You
are then free to rewear another fresh Rudraksha of any Mukhi and of any Origin
as per the guidance you have received. Most importantly do so only if you now
truly internally urge to wear the Holy Rudraksha with the utmost of faith.
If
there is even an iota of doubt in your mind in regards to the Holy Rudraksha
then my humble advise to you is to not wear the Rudraksha.
I earnestly hope that this Blog has cleared the air in regards to this kind of a typical case.
It
saddens me to say that many a Astrologer or Pandits insist that a Gemstone
needs to be changed at frequent intervals. All of them give different time
periods for the change of the Gemstone. They opine that the Gemstone loses its
powers after some period of use.
My
take on this is on the contrary. There are very few instances when you really
need to change the Gemstone one is wearing. Simply changing it because a
certain period has elapsed makes no sense to me. This kind of an advice is
rather fishy to me and smacks of trying to earn an extra buck at regular
intervals. Nowadays most of the Astrologers and Pandits stock Gemstones and
hence one has to be very practical and not fall in the trap of changing the
Gemstone for silly and inconsequential reasons.
Some
of the valid reasons why one may need to change the Gemstone are listed ahead :
A. If the Gemstone one
is wearing has Cracked, Chipped or Broken then it is regarded to be
inauspicious as it is called “Khandit” / “Bhang” / “Desecrated” and
hence must be changed or replaced.
B. If you have lost
your Gemstone and it is still a valid Gemstone to wear as per your Horoscope
then in this exceptional case also you will need to buy a new Gemstone and wear
the same.
C. On account of
budgetary considerations or because you wanted to start off with a cheap
Gemstone to see its positive effects and now having felt them you would like to
upgrade the Gemstone to a better quality.
D. If you have carried
it to a Crematorium or any other such places where there is tons of negative
energy and no amount of energisation will help revive the Gemstone’s virtues
then in this exceptional case too, you are suggested to change the Gemstone.
There
could be no other reason why you need to change the Gemstone in my limited
knowledge and experience.
However,
one must bear in mind that most of the wearers normally commit the folly of
having once worn the Gemstone, they do not either Clean, Cleanse or Energise
it. You must ask your consultant for all the pertinent details in this regard
in the course of purchasing the Gemstone. These exercises have to be done
periodically and religiously. You should also ask him for methods of re
energising the Gemstones in order to ensure that they are bubbling with
positive energy. Gemstones, which are not treated in this manner will lose out
its energy and become a listless Gemstone.
Do
bear in mind that there is nothing in this world which does not require some
basic maintenance and upkeep. The more you immaculately take care of your
Gemstone the greater is it’s life and potency.
I earnestly hope that this humble Blog has been both meaningful and useful to my esteemed reader.
