Sorry, nothing in cart.
Shiva Om Dear Friends,
There are two parts to your question. First of all let me begin by answering the question in regards to the Staircase placement in the Southeast direction. As per the most authoritative classical scripture on the subject of Vastu Shastra, namely, “Mansara” you are absolutely free to have a staircase in the Southeast direction. However, do bear in mind that the Staircase should be clockwise in nature. In other words it means that when a person climbs the Staircase from a lower floor to a higher floor he moves around in a clockwise fashion. Further, the number of steps should always be odd in number.
As far as the Main Gate location in the Southeast corner is concerned, it is important for you to note that none of classical texts on the subject of Vastu Shastra have agreed upon having a Main Gate in any of the four corners of a Vastu. This thereby includes the Southeast direction too. Having a gate in the Southeast direction is a Vastu fault and it should be duly corrected.
You may come across some Vastu consultants who may consider this position to be correct or acceptable. However, this is not true and the texts have very clearly suggested specific acceptable “Pada’s” ( Divisions ) in which the Main Gate should be placed and it is best that the same is meticulously adhered to.
I earnestly hope that this humble Blog has answered the question to my esteemed reader’s satisfaction.
