The source of the Rudraksha may be\neither Indonesia or Nepal, both of them are perfectly okay. Avoid wearing\nIndian beads altogether as they do not have a natural central hole. The hole is\nmanually drilled thereby desecrating ( Khandit or Bhang ) the Holy Rudraksha.\nHence the Indian bead is to be avoided regardless of the Numbers or Size or the\nMukhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further the number of Mukhi \/ Faces of\nthe Rudraksha is also not a matter of concern when you wear a single Rudraksha.\nYou will simply need to ensure that the Rudraksha is genuine and of pristine\nquality. It should have good density, roundness, equal spacing between the\nMukhas, the Mukhas should be clearly demarcated and complete, etc. Also do\nmeticulously ensure that the Rudraksha is not damaged, chipped, cracked, broken\nor moth eaten in any way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You should methodically follow the\nappropriate procedure of adorning the Rudraksha as stated in the classical\ntexts. You should also be guided well in the matters of taking care of a\nRudraksha. This involves it\u2019s cleaning, cleansing and energisation.
