Let me be candid to you\nin regards to my personal opinion on the efficacy of this colossal science and\nart of \u201cVastu Shastra\u201d even though I am a professional Vastu Shastra\nconsultant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vastu Shastra like any\nother Vedic discipline has its roots thousands of years ago. This factor works\nboth to the advantage as well as disadvantage of this science. The brighter\nside is that this science was formulated by Rishi Munis who were Cosmic\nScientists. They comprehended the larger principles of not only Mother Earth\nbut also the various forces impacting Earth and Mankind emanating from the\nUniverse. Further, they were not commercial in nature and were confined to deep\nforests or Ashrams. Hence, the rules laid down by them were all comprehending\nand at a scale which we today are unable to comprehend as we have for our own\ninterests developed myopic materialistic view points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fall out of this\nVedic science is that many a rule with the passage of time and radical change\nin lifestyle, cultures, constructional patterns and over all modernization,\nmany a rules have become redundant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hence, it is very\nimportant for a learned and professional Vastu Shastra consultant to decipher\nwhich of the rules of those times have relevance and functionality in these\nmodern times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadly in a country like\nours we have more quacks practicing this science rather than learned and\nprofessionally trained consultants. Most of them are unaware of the rationale\ngoverning these rules. They simply dictate it to the gullible clients and\ncreate a sense of fear. One also needs to understand that though one may not be\na qualified civil engineer or an architect but it is still mandatory for a\nVastu Shastra professional to learn all the basics of construction. Otherwise\nhis advise turns out to be impossible to follow or then following his advise\nresults in a chaos of functionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vastu Shastra is\neffective and does have impact on human life. This is my personal belief and\nexperience of over 3.5 decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, one cannot say\nthat it is Vastu Shastra alone which has a role to play in life. There are many\nother factors like Karma, blessings of one\u2019s elders, guru\u2019s, etc which all play\nan important role in one\u2019s life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let me give you an\nanalogy. Let us say that a car is life for instance and the tyres are Vastu\nShastra. The car cannot run without tyres but also does not run only because of\ntires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I earnestly hope that I\nhave satiated your desire to understand the impact of this rather greatly\nmisunderstood science of \u201cVastu Shastra\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
