Shiva\nOm Dear Friends,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This\nis truly a very fundamental question that many believers in the powers of both\nthe beads encounter. Further this is not a predicament that bothers the\nordinary people alone, in fact many an astrological consultant is in a dilemma\nof how to deal with this rather vexing situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My\nanswer has two parts to it. It is important to understand as to what is the\nbasis of conflict between wearing a Rudraksha and Tulsi bead together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nfirst part deals with the age old Indian division created by man for sure. This\ndivision is created on the lines of the believers and worshipers of Lord Shiva\nwho are termed the \u201cShaivaites\u201d. Similarly, the believers and followers of Lord\n\u201cVishnu\u201d or any of his Avtars are the \u201cVaishnavites\u201d. The people who were\n\u201cShaivaites\u201d preferred and revered the \u201cRudraksha\u201d as it is the creation of\nLord Shiva. While on the other hand the worshipers of \u201cVishnu\u201d preferred and\nrevered the Tulsi Bead as it was connected to Lord \u201cVishnu\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\nwas a simmering rivalry in these groups. This lead to the wrong notion that one\ncannot wear a Rudraksha \/ Rudrakshas and Tulsi bead \/ beads together. As the\nyears went by and the rivalry confined only in the minds and hearts of a few.\nSuch concepts are not as dominant as they were in earlier era. This is pure\nfear mongering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\npersonally in the course of my three and half decades of professional practice\nseen many a client wearing both the Rudraksha Mala as well as the Tulsi Mala\ntogether and I have not seen anything go awry in their lives. Hence, it is also\npure experience and statistics on the basis of which I do not adhere to any\nsuch narrow views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further,\nit is important to understand that both of these beads are Organic Gems and are\ngifts of nature. Nature does not in any way make such distinctions. These\nwonderful beads have been offered to mankind as a whole. It is we humans who\nwith our myopic and egocentric views create such divides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further,\nthere is no known chemical, electromagnetic field or anything else generated\nfrom these beads which are in conflict with each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hence,\nin my limited understanding and knowledge I would suggest that one can\ncertainly wear any combination of these two beads together. The only concern\nwould be that the wearer should be clear in his mind and not even an iota of doubt\nregarding the fact that both these beads can be worn together. If the doubt\npersists in the mind of the wearer then it is best that he does not wear them.\nEven mother nature cannot work for you if you doubt her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
