First of all let me begin by answering the question in regards to the\nStaircase placement in the Southeast direction. As per the most authoritative\nclassical scripture on the subject of Vastu Shastra, namely, <strong>\u201cMansara\u201d<\/strong> you are absolutely free to\nhave a staircase in the Southeast direction. However, do bear in mind that the\nStaircase should be clockwise in nature. In other words it means that when a\nperson climbs the Staircase from a lower floor to a higher floor he moves\naround in a clockwise fashion. Further, the number of steps should always be\nodd in number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As far as the Main Gate location\nin the Southeast corner is concerned, it is important for you to note that none\nof classical texts on the subject of Vastu Shastra have agreed upon having a\nMain Gate in any of the four corners of a Vastu. This thereby includes the\nSoutheast direction too. Having a gate in the Southeast direction is a Vastu fault\nand it should be duly corrected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may come across some Vastu\nconsultants who may consider this position to be correct or acceptable.\nHowever, this is not true and the texts have very clearly suggested specific\nacceptable <strong>\u201cPada\u2019s\u201d<\/strong> ( Divisions ) in\nwhich the Main Gate should be placed and it is best that the same is\nmeticulously adhered to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I earnestly hope that this\nhumble Blog has answered the question to my esteemed reader\u2019s satisfaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shivam Kalyanam,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof.Dr. Manoj Kalantri.
