I would not call this science a&nbsp;<strong>\u201cBogus\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;science.\nHowever, I would certainly state with all humility that it has been&nbsp;<strong>\u201coverrated\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s application is limited to\neither naming a person or suggesting a change in the spelling of individual\u2019s\nnames so that it synchronises with the date of birth of the person. This brings\nabout better harmony and growth in one\u2019s life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is also applied to naming\nan organization or change in name of the organization in lieu with the founders\ndate of birth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It helps in identifying Lucky,\nNeutral and Unlucky Numbers and thereby Colours and also at times favourable\nand unfavourable directions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is not as in depth a\nscience like Astrology, Palmistry, Vastu Shastra, etc. It is far simpler and\nhas limited applicability. However, off late people have gone berserk about\nthis science and have started applying this science in manners where it has no\nbearing at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For instance people have been\nchoosing properties only on the basis of the number it has rather than looking\nat it from the Vastu Shastra perspective, which actually governs the domain of\npurchasing of properties. They reject great Vastu compliant properties only\nbecause it does not have the number they seek. This is truly the limit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have come across pseudo\nNumerologist who even ask people to change their Date of Birth and Time as the\noriginal is not favourable according to them.
