It is primarily affixed both from the outside and the inside of the Main Door of residential as well as commercial premises. As the name suggests, it ensures the smooth flow of positive energies into the premise and also blesses the person leaving the premise with varied affirmative energies. It is placed on the Main Door as the Main Door is the primary entry point of all things tangible and intangible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By and large each individual takes great efforts to ensure that the Main Door is Sanctified and Secured as per the Shastras, but unfortunately as they are not adept at the same hence are unable to do so. The \u201cMangal Phalak\u201d on the contrary has been designed bearing in mind the categorical descriptions provided in the classical texts and on what should adorn the area above the Main Door.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To fulfill this need we have specially developed the \u201cMangal Phalak\u201d.\u00a0 The word \u201cMangal Phalak\u201d when translated from Sanskrit into English means \u201cAuspicious plank\u201d and hence we have titled it \u201cThe Auspicious Initiator\u201d. We have endeavored to embody the various particulars stipulated in the numerous classical texts in \u201cThe Auspicious Initiator\u201d so that the Main entrance is blessed with it\u2019s relevant aspects.<\/p>\n<p>Translations of the various Shlokhas from ancient scriptures are given ahead for your reference on the basis of which the auspicious &#8220;Mangal Phalak&#8221; has been crafted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. Above the head of the door, the plank (called Mangal Phalak) should be placed with the sculptured images of Lord Ganesha, Goddess Laxmi &#8230;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. On the right (leaf) should be made (the image of) Ganesha (the god of success), and on the left (that of) Saraswati (the goddess of learning)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3. Above the Main Door in the center a figure of goddess Laxmi should be carved. She should be featured sitting on a lotus, with a lotus in hand, adorned with jewels and gems. She should be flanked by two beautiful elephants on either side, bathing her.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>SIGNIFICANCE OF THE ELEMENTS ON THE MANGAL PHALAK<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Mangal Phalak is painted in a superior quality antique gold paint. This colour is synonymous with opulence and prosperity. It also gives the \u201cMangal Phalak\u201d a rich and classy aesthetic look.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>LORD GANESHA:<\/strong> Lord Ganesha, as Vighnaharta graces the \u201cMangal Phalak\u201d while atop a fully bloomed lotus with his left turned trunk, Snake around his belly, Mouse at his foot, Modak as his prasad, the \u201cAbhay Mudra\u201d where he is blessing his devotees. He is the primary deity to be worshipped prior to any other. Any initiation blessed by him is bound to be successful. As the Vighnaharta he banishes all obstacles, tangible as well as intangible. As part of the \u201cMangal Phalak\u201d he blesses all the occupants with his divine benediction ensuring a smooth passage way in life for his devotee which invariably leads to happiness, peace and a feeling of being cocooned under the protection of the almighty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>GODDESS LAXMI:<\/strong> Goddess Laxmi the bestower of Wealth and Prosperity, is present in all her splendour on the \u201cMangal Phalak\u201d. She is seated on a lotus, representing the \u201cPadma Laxmi\u201d which is the form of a stable and secure Mata Mahalaxmi. She is flanked by two elephants who bathe her in praise giving rise to the form of \u201cGaj Laxmi\u201d, ensuring her consistent presence. The Mudras of her hands represent the <strong>\u201cDhana Laxmi\u201d<\/strong> who showers her devotees with affluence and abundance. The Maha laxmi on the <strong>\u201cMangal Phalak\u201d<\/strong> is thus a threefold representation of the goddess and her blessings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>GODDESS SARASWATI:<\/strong> Goddess Saraswati, the fountain of knowledge and learning is depicted in her serene form, sitting atop a lotus with her Veena in her hands; Granths ( Classical texts ) in another and a Rosary to meditate in another hand denoting concentration of thought and action. She is the symbol of wisdom and invites intellectual wealth into the premises. She promulgates the occupants into actively participating in scholarly pursuits and enhancing their minds bandwidth consistently. She helps children perform well in academics. Adults are blessed with the distinction of making erudite and accurate decisions. Even they will make an earnest effort in improvising upon there cerebral achievements. Goddess Saraswati showers her blessings of knowledge on all the occupants of the Vastu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>LIONS:<\/strong> They are the undisputed Kings of the jungle who are resplendent with Royalty. The Main Door \/ Mukhya Dwar of any premise is also referred to as the \u201cSimha Dwar\u201d in the science of Vastu Shastra. They also represent the trinity in its varied forms. In Hinduism the Holy Trinity are: Lord Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. The Trinity of the Body, Mind and the Soul.
