It is true that dry flowers, stems, etc do cause Vastu defects at home or any other place that they are placed. A Fresh flower is budding with pulsating positive energy and when the same is drying or dried it gives out Dying and Dead energy. It is also said and believed that this decaying energy is harmful to the Aura of the premise they are placed in.

It is common to see people put up “Toran’s”/ “Malas” and Flower decorations during a festive season and once the season or day is over they forget all about it till the next festival. In such cases these very decorative vibrant leaves, flowers, stems once they start drying up become a cause of bane. They give out negative vibes and hence it is best that they are removed the moment we see them wilting or drying up. They should then be disposed of in the prescribed manner only.

As a Vastu Shastra consultant I have come across many people who put up dried flowers and stems up in their homes and offices as a part of their decor and I am compelled to dissuade them from doing so. Regardless, of how pretty or beautiful they look they are not carriers of positive energy and hence compulsorily do away with them the moment they are drying up. Do not even wait for them to completely dry up.
